Snake & Ladder
How to play
- Tap Roll dice (or the dice itself) when it is your turn. Your piece moves forward that many squares.
- Land at the bottom of a ladder and you climb straight up it.
- Land on a snake's head and you slide down to its tail.
- Rolling a 6 gives you another turn.
- You need the exact number to land on 100. If your roll is too big, you stay where you are.
- The first player to reach square 100 wins.
Saanp Seerhi, a game as old as the subcontinent
Snake and Ladder began in ancient India as a game about good and bad deeds: ladders for virtues and snakes for vices. Today it is simply a game of luck that children and grandparents can play together. Race the computer, or pass one phone around for 2, 3 or 4 players. There is no download and no account.
